Sydenhurst is a modern Palladian-style mansion set within 30 acres of Surrey parkland near Chiddingfold. At 26,985 square feet and arranged over three levels, the property is among the largest private residential commissions in the Clive Christian project portfolio. The client, who has a deep affinity for Georgian architecture, commissioned Clive Christian after encountering the brand’s statement kitchen in print and determining it was the right fit for a property built to these proportions.
The kitchen at Sydenhurst is built in the Metro Deco Collection, finished in Black Walnut with steel inlay detailing. It features a triple island, a design decision driven by the scale of the room and the floor-to-ceiling windows that frame views across the parkland. A fully air-conditioned walk-in pantry and integrated home automation further reflect the level of specification throughout the property. The Sydenhurst kitchen remains one of the most recognizable projects in the Clive Christian portfolio and has been widely published in both print and digital interiors media.
