Perthshire dual island kitchen
Our globally renowned design team are experts in designing furniture of classic proportions that merge seamlessly with a modern layout and appliances. Our Edinburgh and Glasgow teams have a wealth of experience providing guidance and innovative design solutions for notable properties in Scotland.
Set in its own land in an elevated position, this property possesses beautiful views to the surrounding hills. The challenge within this project was to provide a practical kitchen for a young family, in a space that only had a single wall. They needed a solution to both house appliances and provide storage and working areas, whilst being mindful to take full advantage of the stunning views through the full-length windows.
The dressing room showcases the Metro Deco collection in Cool Walnut, accented with stainless steel inlays. The sleek, refined lines of the cabinetry echo the elegance of the Art Deco era, thoughtfully complementing the heritage of this iconic building. Fluted glass panels add subtle texture and intricate detail, enhancing the space with a sense of timeless sophistication.
Our design team drew inspiration from the building’s striking architectural details, including the beautiful terracotta window reveals. The team reinterpreted these in a contemporary marquetry design for the cabinetry doors. The design plays on the iconic Woolworth ‘W’ insignia, which has been expertly integrated into the doors using intricate contrasting timber inlay.
